I was in coffee tour and I liked it a lot. Both, driver and guide are professionals and we made a great day together. Went around the city, visited different coffee shops and tasted many different types. Absolutely 5 stars.

Day Trip OUT OF ADDIS.

My partner and I booked a day trip tour to the mountains surrounding Addis Ababa and it ended up being just us with our tour guide Yonas and the driver. We had a great time. Aman was very friendly and knowledgeable. The driver was also very lovely.
We had some great conversations with Yonas about the history of Ethiopia.
The landscape is spectacular!
We saw many species of Birds of Prey. Kites, Eagles and even a fairly rare one to see (I forget what it was called). We saw a family of Baboons, up close. It was Orthodox Christmas so the drive to the mountains was interesting, seeing everyone dressed up for Christmas, preparing their dinner. It was a very special trip. I loved my half day Addis city tour with Yonas! He is so much fun and very knowledgeable about the history and culture of this beautiful country. As a solo female traveller, I felt totally safe with him and would recommend him to anyone 🙂

It was an amazing experience! Its definite worthi did take half a day! I spent 5 days in Addis and this is the most exciting and adventurous tour. I've been to places like this in Africa but the Mercato is another thing. Not the living area, but the Merkato is showing us the hustle and bustle of lower class african lives, they are working, striving, and fight for their own future, the ethic and vibe educated me that though life could be hard, you still should fight for it.

I went with the famous guide Adisu who is working at landscape Ethiopia tours . He is probably the best guide I met in Addis. He is patient in a way where I could ask anything, including sensitives things like religions, polygamy, politics... He could gave you a satified answer. He knows not only merkato very well but also places nearby. We first stopped at the famous Tomoka coffee shop, which is the oldest of the first coffee-drinking country of human kind, then we went through the blankts and accessories area. Those things just broaden your eyes. And like a video game which has hidden plot,Adisu would lead us to a historic place and asking if we wanna get inside. There are so many of them so you'd better schedule your time properly.

I departed a little bit late that day, if you wanna go you'd better leave 5 hours for that amazing jungle!

Yonas has been an amazing guide! He drove and guided our day trip to the Debre Libanos Monestry, which is a great daytrip out of Addis. He was not only very spontaneous (we asked for his availability 24h in advance) but also super professional and knowledgeable. Communication was smooth and his English very good! He is also a great driver through A
ddis traffic and over land. If you look for a guide/driver in and around Addis we can only recommend his
services!
